What Is a Good Faith Exam (GFE)?

A Good Faith Exam (GFE) is a required medical evaluation performed before certain aesthetic or perscribed treatments. During this brief consultation, a licensed medical provider will review your health history, assess your goals, and determine if the treatment is safe and appropriate for you.

The GFE may take place in person or through a secure video call (such as FaceTime). Please ensure you are in a private, quiet space so your health information remains confidential.

This exam is required by law and ensures your safety. It must be completed before your treatment can begin—even if you’ve had the same treatment before.
